The Benefits of Natural Prelit Christmas Trees

  1. Make some orange and clove pomander balls to hang onto your tree. This is a simple process, just take a large orange and score all over this. Then insert whole cloves into each hole. You then attach a ribbon and you can hang this onto your prelit Christmas trees near the inside of the tree, or even put this in a large bowl as a centerpiece. Plus, it will smell amazing!
  2. Make a dried orange garland that you can hang onto your prelit Christmas trees. To do this, you simply slice these oranges really thin, bake at 350 degrees until they are dry, let them cool, and add a hole to string these onto string that you can then put onto your tree like garland.
  3. Gather some pine cones from the yard and use these throughout the house as decor paired with natural soy candles for a very vintage and natural look.
  4. You can forage some bark from around the area, and then clean this off. You then attach this around the candle with hot clue to make your own natural candle holder. Once you have burned the candle, simply toss the entire thing.
  5. Gather some cinnamon sticks and tie these together with burlap. You can hang this onto the tree for a lovely ornament, with the added bonus of this being a great smell. Or you can bundle these and put them onto mantles or other shelves throughout your home.
  6. Get together some fresh herbs like rosemary, sage, and thyme and tie these together with a festive bow to add some smell into your centerpieces or throughout the other areas of your home.
  7. Find birch logs that you can pile together near your fireplace for decor. You do not want to burn these as they are gorgeous when gathered and placed into a basket near your prelit Christmas trees.

Being natural is all about using those items that you can easily find outside. It is a  great way to bring nature into your home. And for those who are located in areas that are rather bleak during the Christmas season, this can make your home feel more comfortable. So, do you think that you would like to have a more natural style of decor placed in your home this Christmas season? You won’t be sorry that you did!
